My attention was captured by the aftermath, and my gaze rested on it....

The concept of prelude is ancient; it belongs to music but also to rhetorical art and expresses the need to introduce, to predict what will follow immediately afterwards. It is an elegant, imaginative and improvisational gesture, capable of predisposing the minds of bystanders by stimulating their attention.
