The monochromatic canvas's rich texture employs muslin fabric and pale grey acrylic paint to create the figure. Expressionistic yet controlled muslin is thrown repeatedly and teased until the piece's ethos is revealed. Movement remains a factor in this work, which explores how gesture can manifest within the still image; nevertheless, the symbolic form can appear constrained. Elements of soulful musicality and dance are also present, examining the performer's philosophy and reflecting upon human vulnerability.
