A lot of noble and minimalist-looking white was complemented by gold (acrylic paint) and some genuine, gently sparkling gold leaf (23,75 carat), which makes this artwork something really special.

I worked in many layers of paint to create an intriguing and jagged three-dimensional surface structure that radiates a mysterious depth. Red nunances of a deeper level of paint flash through, giving the artwork warmth and enlivening it.

The oversized depth of the canvas (7,5 cm) gives this artwork an outstanding presence - and makes it look almost like a design object.
