Once upon a time I would have enjoyed doing just the lily pond with lillies and leaves. Monet was an inspiration in the beginning of my art career. I would tell myself, someday I have to do a huge painting of a lily pond.

I'm surprised that today I have every opportunity to do it. And I'm in fact doing it. But my lily pond carries so much within it to say life is ‘Precious and Precarious’ at the same time.
