Walking through the French countryside, near my home, by the light of the moon inspired this landscape, influenced by a visit to see the fabulous landscapes of Joan Eardley at Modern One in Edinburgh. The painting is richly layered with many small details to enjoy over time. It comes to you ready to hang but is a standard size that could be easily framed to suit your own decoration.
