Original artwork description:

This piece was inspired by my solo cycling tour in the foothills of the Alps in the south of France. As I rode up a sun soaked valley all the elements came together, the vibrant spring time colours in the fields below, the magnificent mountains beyond and the dramatic weather systems above. Coming home I wanted to capture the feeling of that moment and the greater sense of adventure.
