" Poutraisons " (Beams) is a square geometric abstract painting in water-soluble oil, acrylic and gilding.

It refers to cross-beams, from which emerges a strange shape with rounded curves in coppery gold studded with small milky white squares.


Shades of mottled khaki green, golden copper, greyish white, linen and caramel blend harmoniously to create a cheerful, autumnal tone.

The painting is complemented by an American crate frame, itself painted in luminous khaki on the front, black on the sides and back, and scarlet red for a touch of Asian zen.
