Pouring Sun was created immediately after the ELEMENTS series and is therefore related to it. In fact it is a kind of epilogue thereof. The painting started with a simple still life and expanded into an abstract landscape thus melting concrete and abstract elements into one whole work. The colors are bright, sometimes complementary to convey energy, warmth, vibrancy, dynamic, life. This is the primordial energy the mankind knows - that of the sun - pouring onto the ground, giving warmth to people and thrust to new life and experience.
