Pouring Off is the first of two purely abstract works. (Its sister painting is called Pouring Off (Negative)). Their names come from the feeling they invoke in me, namely of some fluid that flows down vertically, then meets some obstacle, splashes around and then continues downwards again. So, these works are about the unobstructed movement of energy.
