Original artwork description:

An imaginary landscape from my Oputia series. I imagine the early explorers of Oputia had to rush a bit when they were naming new places - this name seems logical. Painted in a free impasto style with the palette knife in oils on board, ready to be framed.

Oputia is not just about geography - this place has it's own culture, rituals and history. It's an interesting place to explore.
