Original artwork description:

A large vessel with port holes, containing the ocean.

This piece has evolved from a series of photographs taken along the East coast between Hull and Whitby of rusting industrial and shipping metal work. Combining both elements inspired by erosion and corrosion on man made structures and questioning are we on the inside looking out or the outside looking in?

Materials used:

Clay, Oxides, Glaze, Glass
