I am fascinated by India, the culture is like nothing I've ever experienced before and I love to create portraits based on the fascinating people I have met and encountered there. I paint in a relaxed contemporary style which combines realism with loose brushwork, the colours of this piece are typical of the bonda tribe. This portrait is painted on 100% cotton Moulin du Roy paper.
