On this painting, there is a young guy depicted, who is looking at a rose; perhaps he is recalling something, or perhaps he is dreaming about the future. This is Grigory; he came to Germany from Ukraine during the war and kindly agreed to pose for me. It's important for me to paint from life; this way I feel the person, their soul, we exchange a special energy that, I believe, remains in my painting. That's why such works are especially valuable to me. They are alive, they retain a part of our energy.

Painting measures 70 cm x 50 cm (2 cm deep).

Ready to hang. Canvas will be sent on a wooden stretcher, and the sides are painted.
