Original artwork description:

I had a very long, very complex dream about people I did not know, in situations I did not understand, using symbols I found confusing. The images were so strong, and there were so many of them, that I had to get them on canvas.

I am using a different method from my usual work; oil colours with glazes, but also adding a little sand for texture to avoid the surface being too smooth.

This is a series I am working on, without holding back, just recreating what I saw. There will be 6 - 8 finished pieces.

Dark, yes. Disturbing, perhaps. But fascinating to me, and I hope to others.

Materials used:

Canvas and oil paint. Some sand added to the oil paint.
