Original artwork description:

This was one of my first experiments with using old paint scrapings as a component of my work. I see this as a more upbeat piece celebrating the creativity and curiosity that human beings are capable of, even if it leads us to explore dark, disturbing inner worlds. Although someone did say they thought it was just an image of me looking into the depths of hell, so I accept all interpretations as valid.
