In this portrait I wanted to capture Richard in a reflective mood. I chose the blue background to bring out the blue in his eyes. This was painted over 3 sittings of 3 hours. It is a small painting but I was pleased given the timings and, importantly, Richard liked it too. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss a commissioned portrait.
