'Portrait of Katarzyna' has a strong common with most terrifying but also most life-giving element. Full of contradictions.
In my portraits I try to confront, explore and observe relation's tensions between painting and recipient. For me extremely important is interaction between model and observer, hipnotic eye contact and mutual crossing of personal space.
