Original artwork description:

'Portrait of Julia' is a personification of longing for nature. Also refers to the subject of the 'sacrum'. All locked in mysterious sight of portrayed Julia. In this unique painting I try to confront, explore and observe relation's tensions between painting and recipient. For me extremely important is interaction between model and observer, hipnotic eye contact and mutual crossing of personal space. Attached photos are also from two exhibitions.

Painting achivements:
- Laureate in 'Student Painting of The Year' (Katowice, 2017),
- Honorary Distinction in 'Grand Prix of Franciszka Eibisch's Foundation', (Warsaw 2017).

Painting was also exhibited multiple times in many galleries such as:
- Gallery Katarzyna Napiórkowska in Warsaw,
- Art Gallery 'Rondo Sztuki' in Katowice,
- Art Gallery 'Ateneum' in Katowice,
- Dagma Art Gallery.
