This portrait is part of my latest solo exhibition "Fallen angels". Cvetelina's “Portrait of duality” explores the connections between the consciousness and unconscious – two inseparable parts of human nature and mind. It is well known fact that the unconscious is a part of the psyche lying far below consciousness and not easily raised into consciousness. In psychology, the unconscious cannot be directly observed with the conscious mind, but it has its own processes and deeply affects conscious thought.
