Original artwork description:

Based on a photograph of Chet Baker taken during a break between recording sessions early in his career.

Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint applied to stretched canvas using palette knives and brushes whilst listening to a whole load of Chet Baker's music.

The cool blue tones seemed a perfect choice for this painting, symbolic of the trumpeter's cool jazz style of playing and of the cool pose he adopted for this image.

All edges of the canvas are finished in the same medium and therefore no frame is required. Supplied ready-to-hang with brass D-rings, brass wire and felt pads fitted.
