A wonderful portrait painted in oil paints on canvas board 20cm x 20cm with Michael Harding Oil Paints.

With this portrait, which is referenced from a photo, I particularly liked the warm light on the lady's skin with contrast of the dark sunglasses. The warmth of the light in the image creates the opportunity to paint wonderful skin tones of rose and warm yellow mixes. The contrast of the dark sunglassess allowing the use of dark blues mixed with cool purples...all deliciously painterly.
