Albrecht Dürer always fascinated me with his paintings, their meticulousness and attention to detail. His painting is designed in graphic precision, it is strict and laconic. I tried to copy the portrait of a young Venetian woman several times - she has touched my soul since childhood. In the process of work, I seemed to be transported to the Renaissance, as if I lived there in my past incarnation. I heard the splash of Venetian canals in my head, people talking, I could smell the wind. It was a complete immersion in the process, an attempt to touch illusory associations, when the border is erased - either a perception, or a dream ... This picture was always something very personal for me, and the face of this girl was always dear to me.
