This is an oil study of a man from Larnaka painted in Nov 2013.
As part of my residency at the Cyprus College of Art from July 2013 to Jan 2014 I set about finding new ways of making work. At the beginning I continued painting portraits, travelling around Cyprus drawing and painting local people in various places including Paphos, Polis, Larnaka and Nicosia.
This is an oil painting study in grey tone.
