This is an impressionistic original painting, of a Himba girl , Namibia, Africa.
Himba people, are famous for covering themselves with otjize paste, a cosmetic mixture of butterfat and ochre pigment. Otjize is considered foremost a highly desirable aesthetic beauty cosmetic as well as protection from the extremely hot and dry climate of the Kaokoland.

The painting is sent framed, with an 8 cm (3.2 in) wide frame, ready to hang. Glass is not suitable to be sent by post so the painting is supplied with Styrene safety glass, which has the same clarity as glass, but it is much durable and safer than traditional glass
