Portrait Leonardo da Vinci - series Hidden Treasures - Oswin Gesselli

A portrait of the maestro Leonardo da Vinci ! When I paint I think he's always looking over my shoulder. I can feel his presence. To honor him and make him visible I made this painting of him. Now he's always around...looking over my shoulder (with the eyes of the Mona Lisa).

There is more in this painting than you think at first sight. You can find hidden images of Da Vinci in this work.

The Dutch artist only uses the highest quality materials, top quality paint which he, like all old masters, crafted himself using the earth's highest quality pigments.
