Abstraction to represent the fantasy world and figurative to represent the real world.
Figurative elements merged in an abstract context, something that originates in the artists head, from his thinking, from his ability to synthesise concepts in images.
Creating a work of art, for me, is an inner need. To catalogue it is always difficult, but it can serve to have points of reference. It serves to understand it better. The FIGURATIVE ASTRACT ‘series’, is a mixed technique in which physical, recognisable reality merges with abstract reality, which suggests different moods, arouses emotions and sensations, expresses feelings, makes us dream and makes us reflect. Colour in fluid form emanates energy, the unconscious is an inspiring part of the composition. The work takes on a personality of its own, and like sweet music, ‘moves the soul’.
