Mixed media sketch on graph bristol paper : colored pencil, warm grey and black felt-pen, acrylic marker.

This mixed media sketch is draw on a graph bristol paper, with eyelets. ( I sketch on any paper). I love the square of this very smooth and heavy paper with several sketches superimposed to the portrait of this young child, during the winter night : a stag, a star, a face of little girl in profile, a Christmas tree, a Christmas ball, another small character... A profusion of traits, elements, secret drawings hidden from one another.

The face skin tone of the principal child is made with magenta colored pencil. It's the only pastel, soft color of this drawing. The ground is made with burnt umber acrylic marker.

This one of a kind artwork will be delivered with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity.
