Porto / Portugal

I get inspired to create my paintings when I go out for a walk in the city and it doesn't matter in my own city or on a trip. In general it is the urban environment, its surroundings, architecture, cafes, crossroads, bustling city life and especially how people interact with this urban environment that inspires me.

In most cases, I show those things that in everyday life we simply do not notice or pass by. I give people the opportunity to see in my paintings a captured moment from their lives.

So this drawing of the city of Porto was made with a gel pen, liners and professional alcohol markers. I found this place very attractive and cozy. Since the architecture of this city contains so many beautiful details, decor, windows, I couldn't leave it alone and made a drawing in as much detail as possible.
On the ground floors there are cafes with terraces, which are full of people, some sitting and drinking coffee, others walking. In the foreground, I depicted two scooters, as this is a convenient mode of transportation for the narrow streets of Porto.

The painting is framed in a stylish black Ribba frame with depth and space inside.
