This watercolor was made en plein air in Georgia. The seaside city of Batumi impressed me with its crazy architecture and vibrant vibrant life.
I was impressed by the turquoise and blue colors of the calm sea to paint this watercolor.
The contrast between the calm sea and the bustle of the port was striking. I tried to express this through many restless lines in the depiction of ships and people.

I recommend to decorate the artwork in a frame with a passepartout (a mat) under glass. So it looks stylish and will be safe. You might find to be cheaper to frame it at your local stores under the specifications that best matches your needs.

DELIVERY
This original painting will be individually packed and shipped in a cardboard box. The artworks will be wrapped in archival acid free paper, between a foam board and cardboard and inside a PVC bag for humidity protection. An Authenticity Certificate will also accompany this artwork.
