I love painting seascapes, usually creating my own version of the overhead clouds, and if there is a nearby lighthouse then so much the better. This unusually shaped lighthouse, also known as the Carraig Fhada is situated in Port Ellen on the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides . The composition has been continued on the side edges to allow hanging without framing if required.
