In 2005, I had the opportunity to spend three months in Kitakyushu, Japan. Those three months have changed my life in so many ways - I have undergone a tremendous spiritual development and my career has also taken a new direction after my delegacy.

I looked at the world from a completely different angle in Japan, which has remained a part of my life ever since. That fantastic culture, the extraordinarily sophisticated personality of the Japanese people, their discipline, their infinite courtesy and patience, their respect for others and the world around us have completely captivated me.

This painting is an expression of my respect and gratitude for a special world that shows us many examples to follow.

This painting won a Merit award at the Art Room Gallery's "Portrait" Art Exhibition, March 2020.

This painting won a "Special recognition" Award at the 10th Annual “Figurative” Online Art Competition by Light Space Time Gallery in 2020 March. The gallery received 623 entries from 27 different countries from around the world.
