Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by a local field left by the farmer to allow poppies to flower in huge swathes of glorious colour. A man walks his dog in the distant field and the scene is set for an idyllic summer walk. Loose impressionistic style with organic matter in the foreground to provide texture and surface interest. This has been painted on a recycled canvas ( if it was good enough for the Old Masters....) varnished for durability and ready to hang sides painted in soft grey.
