Original artwork description:
Painted on-site at Lyndale Park in Minneapolis, MN. Features a pair of poppy flowers, one white and one orange, on a background of dark green with paint splatter accents in yellow-green, violet, and blue. Running and dripping effects in the background were created with water-based casein paint and glazed over with oil. Painted on board with both palette knife and brush. The flowers have a 3D effect, as the shapes of the flower petals are enhanced by paint thickly applied with palette knife. Framed in a 3.5" wide, 1.5" deep wood frame with an antique gold finish and beaded inner edge for a dramatic presentation. May be purchased unframed by request.
