Original artwork description:
Painted on-site at Lyndale Park in Minneapolis, MN. Features a group of poppy flowers, one white and three orange, and one bud, on a background of dark green with paint splatter accents in blue, purple, and violet. Running and dripping effects in the background were created with water-based casein paint and glazed over with oil. Painted on board with both palette knife and brush. The flowers have a 3D effect, as the shapes of the flower petals are enhanced by paint thickly applied with palette knife. Framed in a 2.5" wide wood frame with ornate moulding and a whitewash finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
