An acrylic painting measuring 20 x 30 cm and painted on MDF canvas board.
'Poppies in a Heart Vase' captures a cheery wee bunch of poppies in a ceramic vase with little hearts on it. The vase stands on one of my many pieces of vintage lace doilies.
Painted in layers of acrylic paint and acrylic glaze to build up layers of colour and depth. The textures on the poppies is achieved by drawing into gesso.

Acrylic paint, acrylic medium glaze, gesso, charcoal.
