Welcome to my gallery.

POPPIES

New work for 2022, watercolour and inks on canvas effect paper.
Painting measures 65 cm X 50 cm.

The painting is worked with high quality, pigment watercolour paints with the addition and alcohol inks, built in layers to create depth.

Through exploration and experience, I've been perfecting a technique to show the beauty of this wonderful watercolour medium and the effect of alcohol inks. I want to let the paint sing.

I have securely attached the painting to a backing board which measures 84 x 59 cm. This gives scope to frame it quite large or the board can be cut by the framers to your desired size. The board will also act as stability for shipping flat.

The painting is finished with a several coats of UV universal fixative and two coats of semi gloss varnish for protection. Artwork will require framing.

Signed on the reverse, but also accompanied by a signed label for placing on the back of your frame.
