I have created this painting of some poppies and meadow flowers using acrylic paints. I have used traditional brush work and impasto for the flowers.

The finished piece has been varnished to protect it.

With added metallic paint for reflections, it shimmers when the sun catches it.

Painted on a stretched canvas frame, no need to frame, and the sides have been painted also.
