I've picked this flowers on my way back from everyday chores. I just couldn't resist to have this summer in my vase in a studio. And of coarse I had to paint it. Usually poppies don't survive at home, but those flowers stayed more then a week, opening more and more bloom and giving me a chance to paint in in different stages from life.
For me this painting is pure summer and I's right on that sweet point between realistic and abstract style, so it will be perfect in classic and timeless interior but also in modern and vibrant.

It's original oil painting on special paper. Very easy to frame.

It can be pretty big together with a frame, especially if you will use passepartout, so it's easy to become a central piece.

To save this painting at home I would recommend framing with or without glass.
