This was bound to happen, what with my twin obsession with both breakfast and pop art. Popular in the 90s 'toaster pastries' Pop Tarts are the latest in my pop art food series, but I've made an amendment to the classic font on the packaging so that it reads 'pop art' instead. The packet is slightly ripped open and two of the strawberry flavoured pastries are bursting from the it.

I love painting food in a graphic, pop art way and I also love painting or drawing typography by hand. The end result is a bold, bright, and original painting that would brighten up any home, or be the perfect gift for anyone with a sweet tooth!

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame for display purposes. So the third picture best represents what you'll be buying.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.

Postage will be first class in a cardboard envelope and the painting will be wrapped in plastic.
