"POP Goes the Ice Cream" In this painting I really just wanted to have fun drawing from some of the different styles that I incorporate separately in my other paintings. I really wanted the painting to pop attracting the eye at the same time being playful. Playing off the hard illustrative edges of the Roy Lichtenstein-esq background with the soft form of both the female figure as well as the soft serve ice cream adds a nice counter balance.
