Original artwork description:

I wanted to capture the natural bright colours of fruit in an exaggerated, flat, pop art style. And watermelon and bananas are my favorite fruits to eat (oranges just look nice).

I've set the objects against a bright light blue background and separated everything with bold black outlines. It's all painted in acrylic paints.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.

The painting is 20cm x 20cm, or 8 inches by 8 inches. It is a block canvas 2 centimetres thick so can be ready to hang.

It would look great in a kitchen, living room, or bedroom, or in a quirky cafe, restaurant, or pub.

Postage will be first class and packaged flat with bubble wrap.
