Original artwork description:

I have painted many nocturnes of Venice over the years, this one was painted to illustrate an article I did for Artists & Illustrators magazine last year as a step-by-step demonstration. I love Venice but I love Venice at night in particular and have walked for hours around the back streets after a nice meal and some wine not minding if I get lost as you always end up by the Main Canal to get your bearings again.
