Inspired by a view of a partially frozen pond outside my studio window. I love the abstract shapes so carefully carved by water and ice. The title adds just another dimension.
Technically I used oil pastel, gouache, ink, and cold wax to achieve depth of texture and meaning.

gouache, oil pastel, wax, ink, oil paint on Bristol 260g acid free paper with acid free mat and back
