Original artwork description:

Hidden in the depths, flowering unseen, mysterious and secret. Inspired by the wild tangle of abandoned gardens on the edge of the river Vienne in France.
Veils of subtle colour and expressive mark making, with many painterly details to discover over time. This painting comes to you framed in a painted caisse American wooden frame and is ready to hang, it is protected with a light final coat of satin varnish.
It was displayed at the 'bains douche' regional contemporary art space in Chauvigny, France in the summer of 2023.
