Im a avid record collector and part time dealer and spend a large amount of my time off wading through thousands of records in shops, peoples houses, basements etc. I love company sleeves, the design and imperfections and thought these would translate into in series of paintings where they can be scaled up. Polydor is my first attempt. When I see a Polydor sleeve I think of James Brown, one of my favourite artists
