This is the first in a new series of acrylic works on canvas. I began painting many years ago with acrylics and work with acrylics when doing outdoor public works, but this is the first time I have revisited acrylic painting on canvas in many years. It has always been my interest in expanding on the tools that I have as an artist and constantly evolving as a painter.

This piece is a completely unique and original abstract acrylic painting on canvas. It is an exercise in fluid painting and thematically deals with issues close to my heart, such as climate change and our human contribution to its origin and escalation. It is a beautifully colorful piece that is a juxtaposition with its underlying theme. There are emerging cracks in portions of the beautiful surface that are a symbolic of what is happening to the planet itself. It is the first in my new series of abstract acrylic works.

Note: This painting is painted on canvas and does not come framed, however the painting continues on the edges of the canvas and therefore framing is not necessary. It is hang ready. Painting in pictures might not be perfectly to scale.

This painting is signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
