Original artwork description:
Typical Dutch landscape: a row of pollard willows on a dyke. A common view in the vicinity of my studio. The organic structures of the trunks amaze me. Because of the roughness of the shapes I used thick oilpaint and paletteknife.
Besides black and white I used very little color: veridian green, perusian blue, crimson and a touch of yellow ochre.
