Original artwork description:

Color is my tool of expression. Inspired by impressionists I try to look for the right colors to tell you about my impression of a place, of a day… This Dutch landscape with water, trees and a boat is so familiar to me. The bare branches in the sky, the holes and cracks in the trunks, the calm of the water… I can never get enough of these organic shapes and forms.
I started with an underpainting of a turqoise/phtalo-green. This set the tone! After that it was never easy picking the next color, I had to experiment a lot! (You can see in the pictures of the work in progress)

The paintings are wired at the back, so they are ready to hang.
