A ballerina tying her pointe shoes, mixed media painting with watercolour and fine liner.

I was brought up dancing and am so inspired by the beautiful positions made by ballet dancers even when not performing, the beautiful shapes created by the tutu I find captivating! I love how the linear watercolour elements break up the figure in this piece.

This is painted in watercolour on 300 gsm 100% cotton Moulin Du Roy paper, the paper is of a lovely quality; thick, heavy and isn't ruched or buckled. All my paintings are shipped well protected in heavy card and waterproofing.
