Original artwork description:

This work is inspired by the end of a summer day at Pointe-aux-Orignaux beach in Rivière-Ouelle in the Kamouraska region. In the distance we can see the wharf and the adjacent dwellings. It is a beach of sand and rocks with shades of red that the setting sun illuminates with all its fires. Gulls frequent this area. The river stretches as far as the eye can see.
